*Encaustic Painting -Amazing Aspens
May 3, 2020 - All Levels
I’m was fortunate to grow up in the beautiful Sierra foothills, which is full of brilliantly colored Aspen Trees. My love for Aspens was originally inspired by Hope Valley and its stunning fall season of majestic colors! In the spring the Aspen leaves are a shimmering distinctive copper color, before turning fall green. In autumn, the leaves turn a brilliant yellow, orange or red, with each Aspen having its own amazing coloration. We’ll be diving into Mother Nature’s brilliance within our Aspen creations, using colorful molten wax, pan pastels, oil paint sticks, tinted shellac burn, pigments and much more!
